Charlotte Knights show off their crafting skills

Charlotte Knights Visit ImaginOn

On June 28, 2016, we had special visitors pop by! As part of their effort to expand community service and give back, several team members of the Charlotte Knights visited ImaginOn's Spangler Library to help school aged children with arts and crafts.

Summer Break at ImaginOn: Teen Focus

If you stop by ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center, follow the ramp to the top floor and discover a unique find in the Queen City: The Loft for Teens. With a space and staff dedicated to youth 12- to 18-years-old, The Loft features not only an extensive young adult collection and traditional library resources but also year-round, daily programming. From art club to robot builds; competitive gaming to cultural conversations; job resources to cooking classes, teens can explore a number of opportunities and cultivate new interests.

Letters to Soldiers

In honor of Memorial Day come by Spangler from May 9th through the 30th to write a letter of appreciation that will be delivered to our military serving at home, abroad, or injured in a hospital.

The ImaginOn StoryLine: Add Your Story!

You may know that ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center is celebrating ten years of bringing stories to life this year. But do you know ImaginOn’s story? We’ve documented how ImaginOn came to be and what it’s become on a pretty cool timeline – er, StoryLine. But ImaginOn’s story is incomplete without YOUR story. Our mission statement says: ImaginOn brings stories to life through extraordinary experiences that challenge, inspire and excite young minds.
