While the ImaginOn Library continues to operate on a limited basis, there are still a number of programs and events for kids, families, teens and groups to do this Summer. 
 
Summer Break!  Live summer to the fullest!  Enjoy Summer Break with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. Fill your summer with adventure and track your activities online for a chance to win prizes.  Sign up online.  June 7th through August 14th. 
 

Terrific Tuesdays! ImaginOn's annual Terrific Tuesday performance series returns in June 2021 in a new online format! Kick off your summer break with ImaginOn by enjoying free live shows from an amazing lineup of performers all from the comfort of your home. Explore stories, science, and interactive activities that will encourage your mind to be inspired and to imagine all the possibilities!
Terrific Tuesday shows are happening every Tuesday afternoon in June at 1:00pm via Zoom and registration is now open. All Terrific Tuesday shows are recommended for families with children ages 3 and up. Be sure to register for each individual Terrific Tuesday performance in order to receive the unique Zoom link for every show!

 
ZOOM Storytimes for Kids Enjoy the ImaginOn storytime experience virtually by registering for a Zoom-based program for your preschool or school age kids. 
  • Family  Storytimes for children ages 0-5 occur every Friday from 10:30-11:00 am. Family Storytime builds your child's early literacy skills and include stories, rhymes, songs, and more! 
  • Story Explorers is our school age experience for children ages 5-11. Story Explorers happens every other week on Tuesdays at 2:00 and Thursdays at 4:00. This program will build your child's literacy skills through interactive activities related to books, art, science, and more! Topics and activities change weekly.

Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s award-winning summer camps offer experiences for students (rising-K though 8th grades) in a fun, interactive environment. Professional teaching artists lead campers in acting, singing, dancing, and art activities.  Prices vary. Registration is available now.
