Two rehearsal rooms where actors received blocking, stage direction and rehearse their lines. These rooms are also used for meetings and special events, like Santa's Bag. The costume shop makes all of the costumes for the Children's Theatre of Charlotte productions.
The Loft at ImaginOn is a library space specifically designed for teens ages 12-18, with 3,900 square feet of space where teens can study, get homework help, hang out with friends, use computers, access the Internet, and play video games. Largest collection of popular fiction books for young adults in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library System. A vast array of graphic novels, comic books, magazines, music CDs, and audio books. 22 Internet-access computers.
Time Warner Cable Tech Central, which is an is an extension of ImaginOn's 2nd floor Teen Loft area, is a quiet study space for teens and their tutors which contains non-fiction, biography, theater scripts, classics, and reference library materials as well as fourteen computers with Internet access.
Studio-i is a multimedia space for experimentation that connects youth with digital media tools to promote creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. 1,170 square feet dedicated to creating digital media including videos, animation, and music. Process and layout designed by local animator, John Lemmon with John Lemmon Films.
Five classrooms designed for drama camps, workshops, dance, art and technology training.
