Teen Tech Week: Photography Contest
Celebrate Teen Tech Week by participating in this unique photography contest. Teens will create their own motivational posters using free online software and their personal or the library's digital cameras.
Teen Tech Week: Virtual Vacation- Steampunk Edition
Celebrate Teen Tech Week by "Steampunking" your photos to look like you stepped back in time, in a world where fantasy and technology have combined. It's going to be awesome, so be sure to show up!

"The Queen In Me" Teen Seminar
A four hour seminar hosted by Make Me A Queen Foundation and Girl Talk Foundation Inc. that teaches teen girls the importance of self respect, self pride, and self worth. Event will consist of guest speaker Miss NC USA 2010 and a series of workshops.
Tech Central Presents: Live Action with the Green Screen!
Celebrate Teen Tech Week by using the video switch to create cool effects around an infinite number of backgrounds.

Prom Project
Get ready for Girl Talk’s 8th Annual Prom Project! Teen girls are invited to attend a one-day event where they select a prom dress, shoes and accessories free of charge. Prior to shopping, participants are required to attend an etiquette class that includes tips on fashion, hair and make-up. The class is designed to provide the resources needed to achieve an elegant prom experience.
Texting While Driving - Know the Facts
Learn about and discuss the issue of texting while driving. Presented by the the University of North Carolina's Distracted Driving Task Force.
