For Families/Teens: Studio iBack to Top

Studio iStudio i, located on the second floor in the Loft at ImaginOn, is a space where families and teens can bring stories to life through movies and music. Studio i was designed by John Lemmon Films, located in Charlotte.

Express yourself in Studio i through animated and live action videos, music or a combination of the three. Studio i has the tools needed for each step in the production process, including: shooting, editing and sound mixing. Completed videos and songs can be burned to a disc, available for purchase at ImaginOn, or shared online. To view videos created by teens in Studio i visit our YouTube site. To listen to music created by teens in Studio i, visit our playlist.

Teens and families will gain visual literacy and storytelling skills through working with such software as Pinnacle, GarageBand, iMovie, Final Cut, Scratch, and StopMotion Pro. Some projects that can be created include:

  • Weather reports or music videos using our blue screen technology
  • Fashion shows wearing donated costumes from Children's Theatre of Charlotte
