Family Storytime

Children enjoy favorite stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skills. Help foster a love of books and reading in your child. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers, Preschool (3-5), Toddlers (18-35 months)


Nascar Race Face Puzzles

It’s Speed Street week and we have puzzles and trivia in the Loft. Participate and win prizes! Audience: Teens (12-18)


Wii U Gaming (Ages 8-11)

Students (Ages 8-11) will participate in Wii U games that encourage cooperation, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Sign up for a time to play at the main desk in the Spangler library. Audience: Preteen (8-11)


Stump the Staff: Blockus

Can you beat the staff in this week’s game, Blockus? If so, win a prize! Audience: Teens (12-18)


Wii U Gaming - Family Time

Families are invited to play the Nintendo Wii U during this time. Family members will actively participate in Wii U games that encourage cooperation, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers


Bilingual Spanish Storytime

Come and enjoy a fun filled bilingual storytime with Rocio, who shares her Colombian heritage with us by leading us in song, dance, and stories. Come to learn more Spanish, come to learn to dance, and come to have fun! Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers

Film & Feedback

In recognition of National Military Appreciation Month, stop in the Loft to watch the film Flyboys. The movie tells the story of young Americans who volunteered for the French military before the U.S. entered World War I, and became the country's first fighter pilots. This film is rated PG13. Audience: Teens (12-18)
