Can you beat the staff in this week’s game, Blockus? If so, win a prize! Audience: Teens (12-18)


Wii U Gaming - Family Time

Families are invited to play the Nintendo Wii U during this time. Family members will actively participate in Wii U games that encourage cooperation, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers


Bilingual Spanish Storytime

Come and enjoy a fun filled bilingual storytime with Rocio, who shares her Colombian heritage with us by leading us in song, dance, and stories. Come to learn more Spanish, come to learn to dance, and come to have fun! Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers

Film & Feedback

In recognition of National Military Appreciation Month, stop in the Loft to watch the film Flyboys. The movie tells the story of young Americans who volunteered for the French military before the U.S. entered World War I, and became the country's first fighter pilots. This film is rated PG13. Audience: Teens (12-18)


Wii U Gaming (Ages 8-11)

Careers in the National Guard

Considering a career in the military? Come to the loft and receive information from a representative of the National Guard. Audience: Teens (12-18)

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Presents Terrific Tuesdays: Professor Whizzpop

Celebrate the summer with Professor Whizzpop! This amazing magic show will encourage kids to make the most of their summer and READ. Tickets are available on May 29th on ImaginOn's website. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers


Bibliobop!

Bring your family and your dancing shoes as we crank up the tunes and get down in the library! We will be sharing our personal favorites from our children’s music collection as well as some books that will make you want to get up and move! Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers

Guiding Parents to Services (GPS), a program within Smart Start of Mecklenburg County is providing FREE Parent Workshops for families of young children with an Autism Spectrum diagnosis. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers
