ImaginOn Group Visit Frequently Asked Questions

How long before we know if our group visit request is accepted or not?
You will get an e-mail acknowledging the receipt of your request immediately after you submit the request. Please allow seven business days for a reponse. If your group visit request is accepted, you’ll get an e-mail confirmation. If your request is not accepted, you will receive a phone call to try and set up another date and time.

What if I we don’t have internet access?
You may call (704) 416-4605 to request group visit, but this will slow down the request process.

What if my group of kids spans a wide age range, like 3-15?
Request a group visit for the number of kids you have in each age group (Pre School , Elementary, Teen). In the “NOTES & SPECIAL REQUESTS” section of each request, indicate that you want to bring all the groups together.

How can we guarantee a spot in a program?
We fill group visit requests on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to provide three different dates and times on your request.

How many visits can my group have?
School groups can schedule visits on a regular basis, but ImaginOn reserves the right to limit an organization's visitation frequency. During the summer, each program location can schedule up to 4 group visits.

When does group visit booking transition between summer mode and school-year mode?
In early May, group-visit options transition from school-year to summer offerings. In mid August group-visit options transition from summer to school year offerings.

Where do we park?
If you travel by car or van (8’ or lower in height), check out the parking options.

If you travel by bus, groups drop off and pick up at the front door of ImaginOn (300 E. 7th Street), chaperones check in at the Welcome Desk and pick up a parking permit and map. Bus Permit / Bus Parking Map (Adobe Reader Required) Free bus parking is located over a mile from ImaginOn, so bus drivers cannot be chaperones.

Where do we eat lunch?
During the school year, lunch space can be requested and fulfilled on a first-come/first-served basis in conjunction with other group visit requests. During the summer, we do not provide indoor space for lunch.
